We do also understand that having a parent, cousin, mother-in-law, or maid of honour, asking you about all the arrangements and the bridal wear can be a little daunting… So, right from the start it’s really important to remember that visiting Bridal Shops in the North East should be a fun and exciting experience!

Bridal shops in Newcastle currently have COVID-19 restrictions in place which limit the amount of people that can be in the shop at the same time, and also limit group size. Before you start to worry about who to take with you and who to leave at home, the first thing to keep in mind is that today is YOUR day, and the decisions are entirely yours to make. Bringing too many people with you can actually make it more difficult, as everyone will have different views and will want to discuss them with you.

At some time or other we’ve all experienced the ‘green eyed monster’, or the dissenting voice of negativity. You can do without these when shopping for your dress!

#3: BRING PEOPLE WHO MAKE YOU SMILE

If you've been dreaming about dress shopping with your sister since you were six, she'll be a great person to bring with you to your appointment (if she checks the first two boxes of course!).

Remember that the people in your life who check all three boxes are the ones you want to be with when you say ‘yes to your dress’ for the first time. If you truly can't decide who to bring, you can always go dress shopping alone! And the fact is, everybody would think you look stunning in your wedding gown as you walk down the aisle.
